infra's stream of consciousness

I didn't go to my first concert until I was 22. My first concert concert was Ghost, in the first round of the Imperatour. I loved what the band stood for back then, and loved the theatrics, but I fell out of love quickly when it started to feel gimmicky. Anyways here's my Impera tee.

This is one of my firsts band tshirts.

The rest of the concerts are a bit of a blur, but I remember seeing deadmau5 after Ghost. I was incredibly excited, but I got so sick at the venue. I had fever, and felt a runny nose. The weather was ghastly and this all happened in the middle of winter. The whole experience was a fever dream. I had a great spot in front of the stage, however I had to move to empty seats because of how sick I was. It was definitely irresponsible to stay, but I felt like I wouldn't have a chance again. That of course, was not true, as I ended up seeing him at the Brooklyn Mirage during the 10yrs of mau5 celebration, and that was a kickass concert. Here's my dm5 tee.

I've seen Yaeji and Magdalena Bay live but I didn't get their band tees ˙◠˙ One of the sickest concerts I've ever been in was Spiritbox. I first met Spiritbox at the Ghost concert, when they opened for them. Then I went to their concert in NE, where Dying Wish opened. It was the first time (and only so far) that I ever crowdsurfed. It was amazing. 10/10 would do it again.

The biggest band I've seen live was Nine Inch Nails for their peel it back tour. It was unbelievable. I, however, was in the bleeders because tickets were crazy pricey. I would've loved to be in front row, because it was a sickass performance. But it was a connecting experience because it's my husbands favorite band. It was because of him that they became mine too, and the tickets were a sort of early birthday present.

This is the tshirt that I wore to the concert. I got it off spotify, when they offered me a personalized tee for being in the top 0.001% of top listeners of NIN during 2024. I'm pretty proud of that tee, lol

This is positively my second favorite tshirt. I got it on a Pixel Grip concert. They were still small enough that they did a free meet and greet afterward, and I got to talk to Rita and take a pic with them. I also got on stage during Alphapussy. I was very starstruck, I felt so embarassed for like a whole month. They're one of my all time favorite bands, and happened very quickly over the span of two years. The drummer follows me on insta, though I'm convinced it was an accident. I have all their records. I have a tiny vinyl collection. One of these days I'll add records to my collection tab :P

This one is my most recent. I got it off a sale on Patriarchy's website. In terms of genre their a bit Pixel Grip adjacent. I love them, and haven't been able to see them live, but I will as soon as they come to my area. The vocalist sent me a note explaining that they couldn't find my size, so they sent me another one used by her (washed). It fit perfect. I couldn't have gotten a better one
